JOB DESCRIPTION WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:

  • You will be responsible for the entire business unit dealing with end-to-end member exit events (death claims, transfers, retirements, withdrawals, unclaimed benefits);
  • You will be responsible for the leadership of a large multi-disciplinary business unit, including senior managers, technical/legal support teams and business enablement capabilities;
  • You will be responsible for stakeholder engagement with trustees, principal officers and senior governance structures;
  • You will be responsible for service delivery, regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

  • You have the ability to operate strategically and operationally in a highly regulated environment. You have subject matter expertise- leadership skills and are an efficient and effective manager – you put customers 1st and will ensure this division thrives and succeeds for clients. It’s a very visible important role.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • You have a postgraduate qualifications / MBA;
  • You have a minimum of 5 – 10+ years’ current, relevant experience in retirement fund administration at a senior leadership level;
  • You have strong knowledge of Section 37C death claims and other exit events;
  • You have proven senior leadership and large business unit management experience.

You are articulate in English; you are well presented – you command respect as a result of your input and output and are a positive influence. Rewards are significant and will include a lucrative performance bonus.
