Our client is a multi-specialist investment company in 10 African countries with business partners
in North America, the United Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. As one of the largest investment managers in South Africa, the company employs a wide range of professional and specialist investment and technical staff. Staff compliment countrywide is nearly 600. They have a diverse investment offering designed to deliver on their investment promise to their clients.
They now seek a senior specialist: business intelligence to join their team.
JOB DESCRIPTION WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:
- You will be required to develop and build timely reporting, dashboard and scorecard solutions using SQL Server / SSIS / SSRS / QlikView package / Power BI, Oracle, MS Excel, SAS and similar business intelligence tools;
- You will be required to conduct data extractions, resolve queries and drive automation of processes, tasks, creating reports, scorecards and dashboards to the financial crime risk management teams PBB SA.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- You have a degree in information technology;
- You have a minimum of 8 – 10 years current, relevant experience;
- You have experience in business intelligence, data analysis, reporting roles within financial industry;
- You have advanced skills in SQL, data visualisation (Qlik, PowerBI, Tableau) and Excel;
- You have exposure to AML, fraud detection or other financial crime risk management areas and strong problem-solving skills. Great opportunity – huge exposure!
