JOB DESCRIPTION WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:

  • You will be required to act as an advisor solutions specialist of the company’s IP and to be responsible for the delivery of key strategic initiatives with a particular emphasis on the company’s retail local and offshore product range;
  • You will be required, as the product specialist, to be at the forefront of promoting the company’s advanced advisor solutions proposition, driving growth and success in a dynamic and exciting market;
  • You will be required to identify, develop and manage local and  offshore opportunities with the independent financial advisory space;
  • You will be responsible for specialised sales activity (particularly related to offshore), assisting the sales team to achieve their sales targets through targeted value-add meetings;
  • You will be required to have knowledge of the company’slocal and offshore fund range, with the ability to assist advisors in utilising the offshore funds within the offshore product set;
  • You will be responsible for assisting advisors and sales teams with complex client scenarios by providing bespoke proposals;
  • You will be responsible for ensuring sales opportunity is maximized and that this assistance is converted to deal flow into the products;
  • You will be required to continually upskill yourself on both competitors and the offshore regulatory and tax landscape;
  • You will be required to create content related to this and assist in upskilling the sales team on this material;
  • You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with the national IFA market;
  • You will be required to present to the advisor base via a mix of one-to-one meetings, webinars and face to face events;and to travel nationally with a particular reference to costal option;
  • You will be required to collaborate effectively with internal teams, including sales managers, the product team, servicing teams and senior management, to drive the proposition forward;
  • You will be responsible for production of articles and content for presentations;
  • You will be responsible for broadening revenue sources for the company’s IP by identifying the customer, regulatory and technology changes that will define the industry in years to come and ensuring we are well placed to capitalize on them;
  • You will be responsible for exploring new commercial opportunities to increase revenue and driving key strategic product development initiatives within the local and offshore product sets;
  • You will be responsible for interrogating new business partnership opportunities such as offshore trust companies;
  • You will be required to assist head of sales in driving key sales focus areas of the business;
  • You will be responsible for collaboration with channel heads in key areas such as product, sales, marketing, advisor services & SAUT to help establish and drive major initiatives.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • You have a B.Com hnrs/B.Bus Sc  CFP / CFA;you are technically strong and have good client facing ability and are a superb team player and have a collaborative work style;
  • You have a minimum of 5 years current, relevantlocal and offshore platform and retail offering or AND investment sales experience;
  • You are able to show creativity in interpreting data and financial planning angles and can convert into client friendly material;
  • You are proficient in Excel;
  • You have the ability to leverage existing networks and relationships;
  • You have good knowledge of local and offshore unit trusts and platform products;
  • You have an understanding of the legal & fiduciary aspects of the company’slocal and offshore range;
  • You have an analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • You have a proven ability to develop firm ties with clients, partners and teams of staff;
  • You are confident to presentpublicly;
  • You will be required to travel, nationally;
  • You have project management, market research, sales and marketing expertise;
  • You have the ability to convey complex ideas;and you are able to collaborate with different client centric teams with ease;
  • You have strong strategic / business instincts.
