JOB DESCRIPTION WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:
- You will be required to have experience in business analysis, and project management who can successfully operate across a wide range of project roles on site at the company and in office/remotely.
- You will be responsible for working on projects, based offsite or onsite at the clients. The nature of these projects will vary, depending on the scope of the company’s engagement and will always be in the FS industry and important and relevant to the client.
- You will be required to have a deep understanding of the asset management, wealth management and/or fund administration industries and operations / processes and systems;
- You will be required to have worked on big / transformational projects and not just small process improvements;
- You will be required to translate business requirements into solutions or designs- can influence the decisions made by the clients;
- You will be required to be experienced in all the business analysis tools and techniques;
- You will be required to lead a team of business analysts;
- You will be required to gather and coordinate business requirements, projects and tasks;
- You will be responsible for data analysis (SQL) – this is preferred;
- You will be responsible for business and process analysis as well as impact assessment;
- You will be required to ensure appropriate documentation are created and maintained;
- You will be responsible for facilitation of meetings, workshops, etc. to gather information using understanding of the industry to guide and ask the right questions to obtain the required information;
- You will be responsible for testing – user acceptance, solution and / or quality assurance;
- You will be responsible for the transfer of knowledge to users, trainers and peers;
- You will be required to manage and influence clients expectations for the design and delivery of the solution;
- You will be required to grow into a client account manager; or may be appointed to same on inception – depending on your level of skill;
- You will be required to mentor internal company resources.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- You have a degree at honours level ideally in finance / business science / capital market / engineering / statistics;
- You have a qualification in business analysis – or additional relevant skills to ensure you are an expert at your role;
- You have a minimum of 10 years current, relevant practical experience in financial services (as mentioned above under Industry focus).
