R HIGHLY NEGOTIABLE PLUS ANNUAL PERFORMANCE BONUS

Our client, a highly respected financial services company, seeks a new resource for their life business. Report to the CEO who is smart, hard-working, tech savvy and keen to move and shake in this space.

The role is to present a strategy to Exco that is the best way to grow share of wallet for this product offering. You will be ‘selling’ via a tied agent network. You will look at how to influence and track trends, sales and forge highly successful campaigns. You are a high energy, subject matter expert who understands how digital channels work to ensure increased revenue. The product offering is good -so that part is not a tricky one – it’s how do we do this smarter, better, with a long term outcome that ensures customers stay with the product through their life.

JOB DESCRIPTION WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:

  • You will be responsible to ensure sustainable growth of its consolidated balance sheet and income statement by identifying business growth opportunities (new markets, new products and new services) and deliver those through the design of the most cost-effective delivery channel appropriate to the respective segment, developing appropriate risk management strategies and introduce efficiency improvement measures to an optimal return and maximum;
  • You will be responsible for the achievement of net profit growth for business;
  • You will be required to establish, align and manage target and budget goals whilst ensuring effective control of costs for a range of functional areas to increase cost efficiency;
  • You will be required to develop a service culture which builds rewarding relationships, proposes innovations and allows others to provide exceptional client service;
  • You will be required to build and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external parties to support the sales strategy;
  • You will be required to manage the growth of active customer account base to increase client base;
  • You will be required to track, control and influence sales activities with the specific aim to achieve previously determined sales team targets;
  • You will be required to define a portfolio growth strategy in line with predetermined growth targets, which are determined on an annual basis through conducting competitor analysis, providing innovating new value propositions and focusing on new as well as cross-sell opportunities;
  • You will be required to keep up to date with financial and economic developments to inform and support clients and provide clear analysis for all business processes and documentation to develop the business;
  • You will be required to plan and execute campaigns successfully and on schedule. Set standards and benchmarks for measuring successful campaign execution;
  • You will be required to monitor costs / benefits per campaign / channel;
  • You will be required to maintain operational accountability for all campaign execution;
  • You will be required to improve business decisions by providing accurate and reliable business intelligence (information) together with analysing trends and data.

  • You have excellent negotiation, relationship building and communication (verbal and written) skills in English;
  • You have proven ability to operate at both strategic and detailed level;

  • You have strong work ethic and perseverance, with the ability to operate “in the grey”.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • You have a minimum of 10 years’ current, relevant experience in strategic and operational insurance work and have the obvious ability to influence, drive, deliver outstanding results. You want to work in this business because you are keen to work for a market making CE and be part of that team and put your energy to the best use! You will be very well rewarded for your excellent ability to do all of the above.
