They now seek a project manager to join their team. You will report to the programme manager.
JOB DESCRIPTION WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:
- You will be responsible for growth leads and oversees the planning, execution and delivery of projects within the growth and operating divisions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving initiatives that support revenue growth, customer acquisition and market expansion;
- You will be required to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget while fostering collaboration across teams and maintaining high standards of governance and reporting. Operating at the intersection of commercial strategy, business development and digital enablement, this position is critical to achieving organisational growth targets and sustaining competitive advantage;
- Project planning & delivery:
- You will be required to lead and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects across the group;
- You will be required to develop detailed project plans including scope, timelines, milestones and resource allocation;
- You will be required to ensure alignment of project objectives with organisational growth strategies and the 5 year plan;
- You will be required to apply best-practice methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) for efficient delivery;
- You will be required to monitor progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes;
- Stakeholder engagement & communication:
- You will be required to act as the point of contact for projects Operational and functional areas;
- You will be required to facilitate steering committees, governance forums and updates;
- You will be required to prepare and present clear, actionable reports and dashboards for senior leadership;
- You will be required to translate strategic objectives into operational deliverables for cross-functional teams;
- Governance & risk management:
- You will be required to maintain accurate documentation including project charters, risk registers and change logs;
- You will be required to ensure compliance with organisational governance frameworks, commercial guardrails and investment protocols;
- You will be required to conduct risk assessments and scenario planning for high-impact initiatives;
- Resource & budget management:
- You will be required to coordinate internal and external resources to deliver projects effectively;
- You will be required to track project budgets and ensure cost efficiency and value delivery;
- You will be required to support procurement processes for project related items to ensure compliance with budgets;
- Digital enablement & process optimisation:
- You will be required to drive adoption of digital project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Trello, Asana);
- You will be required to implement automation and analytics to enhance project tracking and reporting;
- You will be required to champion continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and reduce delivery timelines:
- Post-implementation review & continuous improvement:
- You will be required to conduct project evaluations to identify lessons learned and best practices;
- You will be required to recommend process enhancements and capability-building initiatives;
- You will be required to support organisational learning by documenting insights and sharing knowledge across teams.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- You have bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, commerce, or related field;
- You have a minimum of 4 years’ current, relevant experience in project management within commercial, business development, or digital transformation environments;
- You have proven track record in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects;
- You are proficient in project management tools and methodologies (PMBOK, Agile, PRINCE2);.
- You have PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications – this would be a distinct advantage;
- You have experience in logistics, supply chain, or transport industries – this would be a distinct advantage.
